COVID-19 Salon Update
As new government guidance came in to effect today, we have updated our salon guidelines.
The wearing of masks will be a personal choice for our clients and team. Masks will still be available for your use should you wish, and if you'd like your Associate to wear a mask, please, just say. However now that social distancing is relaxed, during busy times in the salon we may ask you to wear a mask to ensure everyone's safety. If social distancing is a concern for you we are happy to book your appointment during our quieter times.
For skin specialist and facial area services, wearing a mask has always been a part of our protocol, even prior to the pandemic, and will continue to be so.
We still have an obligation to provide contact details to Track and Trace if requested, and although not required we will retain the app check in QR Code available for your use. Until advised otherwise we will continue to send the COVID-19 Questionnaire via email, this must be completed and submitted back to us prior to your appointment.
Hand sanitiser will continue to be available for your use.
Walk-in appointments will now be available.
We are now able to offer you a hot or cold drink in ‘proper’ cups, and our regular magazine service will recommence this month.
What we will continue to do to ensure we stay COVID Safe
We have completed a full review of the salon risk assessment, and to comply with government guidelines and health and safety obligations we will continue to:
Ensure all stations, tools and products will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between every service. We assure you that your gown, our aprons and all towels are clean.
Hand sanitiser will be available for client use. We ask that you sanitise your hands on entering and leaving the salon. Team members will wash their hands between each client and use additional sanitiser when required during your service.
Team members will be asked to confirm that they are symptom free, and have not been caring for someone sick in the past 14 days, at the start of each day. Twice weekly Lateral Flow Tests will be taken to minimise transmission risks within the salon.
Feel free to speak with us if you have any questions or feedback relating to our updated salon guidelines, and please contact us if you become symptomatic of the virus within two days of your appointment.
Thank you for your continued support, we look forward to seeing you soon.
Heather and the HWS Team.
